Wish List : Speed Machines 1

Hola!Me again. This morning am on my way to work, I saw this one billboard that captures my attention. As you all can see the title, yes it is another speed machine on my wish list. Aha…

1. 2013 Subaru BRZ

The 2013 Subaru BRZ ranks 3 out of 10 Affordable Sports Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 6 published reviews and test drives of the Subaru BRZ, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.

Test drivers are floored by the 2013 Subaru BRZ’s performance. Like theMazda Miata, reviewers are astounded the BRZ’s peppy engine, magnificent handling and slick-shifting transmissions. Autoblog writes, “There is no doubt about whether the car does what it was built to do – it handles terrifically, it sounds great especially if you’re a fan of high-revving fours, it’s a solid shifter with either transmission and a pleasant cabin.”

Inside, the BRZ has front seats that are well-bolstered and comfortable, as well as rear perches that are suitable for children or a forward-facing car seat. And although the BRZ’s trunk is the same size as the Nissan 370Z’s, its rear seats fold for larger items. Despite its small size, the 2013 BRZ also earns a better safety score than most competing sports cars.

2. 2013 Volkswagen Golf VII GTI by ABT Sportsline

The seventh- generation Golf GTI made its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it already received its first tuning kit. The package was announced by German tuner, ABT Sportsline, and it features two different upgrade kits and an aerodynamic kit that transforms the car into the coolest GTI you will ever see.

For the engine upgrade, ABT is offering two stages. In stage one, the standard 230 horsepower goes up to 270 horsepower. The tuner is currently developing a stage two that will take the engine’s output up to 310 horsepower – a number more suitable for a sports hatch.

The exterior kit combines the most suitable colors for a sports car: white, red and an aggressive black. The aerodynamic kit includes a new front spoiler and front grille, and new mirror caps and side skirts. For the rear, new skirt inserts and trunk lid attachment, plus a new exhaust system with four end pipes.

Customers will have the possibility to choose between two different wheels, measuring 18 or 19 inches and combined with suspension springs that will lower the car’s ride.
