Signs You’re A People Pleaser And Why It’s Not Benefitting You

Image

Hola muchachas!I’ve been busy with stuff lately. Having complicated minded and a war between mind and heart. Hope you guys are good. Today am gonna share with you guys some interesting facts i believed. Your happiness is always depend on others, no happy people no happy you. I am the people pleaser. What about you?

Although people-pleasing has its advantages, it definitely has its cons. In any situation, one person always ends up losing out and that person is you.

Allow yourself to be happy and others will follow. When you have the happiness you want and put yourself first, you can spread that to others and make them happy, too.

Are you a people pleaser? Unsure? These 12 signs will help you find out for sure:

1. You often feel like a doormat

You are taken advantage of. People can do whatever they want to you because you won’t do anything about it. They can hurt you, use you and you just let them.

2. You worry about hurting others’ feelings

You watch everything you say because you want to make sure no one has their feelings hurt. You put people’s feelings ahead of your own.

3. You believe you are less than others

You tend to think everyone is better than you and that they have something over you.

4. You avoid giving yourself credit for anything

If you worked on a group project or got very little help from someone, you always make sure to not take the credit or all the credit. You feel as if that is wrong and that everyone else should have credit over you.

5. You easily attract people who need to be rescued or consoled

Friends and family come to you with their problems or to fix things for them because they know you will drop everything to listen or help them.

6. You have a fear of letting down others

You go above and beyond what’s normal, lose sleep over things and do whatever you can to make sure you never let anyone down. You keep most plans and try to never let anyone be mad at you. You continue to do what everyone else would rather do because you do not want to let them down.

7. You’re constantly apologizing

You apologize for everything, even when you didn’t do anything wrong because you blame yourself for things, or others know you will take the blame for it.

8. You rarely ask for or accept help

You rarely ask for help because you don’t want to be a pain to anyone. You want everyone to feel like you can do it yourself and that you don’t need anyone.

9. You hate confrontation

If someone is mad at you for something or you have to face a hard decision, you try to stay away from confrontation at all times because you don’t want to fight with anyone or argue.

10. You’re nice and helpful to everyone you meet, including people you dislike

You try to make sure everyone feels good about themselves — even people who have done you wrong more than once. You are kind to them because you feel like it’s the right thing to do.

11. You can always be counted on for a favor

People can always count on you for favors because you will do anything for others to avoid letting them down. You go out of your way to help them, even if you don’t have time.

12. Always get your work done, never miss deadlines and will pick up extra work because you don’t know how to say you’re busy

Again, you’re always trying to please people by doing whatever is needed, even if you do not have time for it.

People pleasers always get their work done, help others with their work, make all the plans and are always there for family members and friends. Even though people pleasing may sound like it makes for a considerate individual, it does have its cons, including the following:

1. Neglecting yourself

Because you are always trying to please everyone else, you forget to take care of yourself. You emotionally and physically drain yourself and neglect your own needs.

2. Resentment

You resent others for being able to say no and you resent the fact that people take advantage of the kind person you are just because they know you will do anything.

3. Reduced ability to enjoy other people and activities

You start to not enjoy activities because you were just doing them to make someone else happy in the first place. You start to not think highly of other people you hang out with because of this.

4. Stress and depression

Eventually you become stressed from all the commitments you made that you are unable to stick to or make time for. Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day for this. Depression starts to come in because you are doing whatever everyone else wants.

You can’t please everyone all the time, so stop trying. Allow yourself to have boundaries. Allow yourself time and space to make yourself happy, too.

Be you, be happy and allow that happiness to radiate to others. It’s definitely a gift and curse to be a people pleaser.

Be honest to yourself

Don’t lie, be honest, and stay true to yourself. I would like to admit and confess myself by being so bad towards some people. I can lie to them but not to myself. I would rather keep my mouth shut than telling the truth. I want them to be happy when they are with me. No return is expected. I love them and i want them to feel my happiness. But as far as things going, is this still worth to be lying all around? I keep thinking, keep running in my mind like a hurricane need to crash out eagerly. Should i do this for my own benefits?or what can i call it being selfish?

Dear me, have a deep conversation with yourself, i know honesty can be hard, i have to do the work, don’t be afraid if the result turns out unbelievable, is not the end it might be the new beginning. Honesty will sets myself free. Just see yourself in the future. Think this way, if am making mistakes, it means am out there doing something.

Love,

F.

Love Runs Out

Image

I’ll be your light, your match, your burning sun,
I’ll be the bright and black that’s making you run.
And I feel alright, and we’ll feel alright,
‘Cause we’ll work it out, we’ll work it out.
I’ll be doin’ this, if you ever doubt,
‘Til the love runs out.

I’ll be your ghost, your game, your stadium.
I’ll be your fin, deep down, is entrapped like one.
And I feel alright, and I feel alright,
‘Cause I worked it out, I worked it out.
I’ll be doin’ this, if you ever doubt,
‘Til the love runs out.

I got my mind made up and I can’t let go.
I’m killing every second ’til it sees my soul.
I’ll be running, I’ll be running,
‘Til the love runs out.
And we’ll start a fire, and we’ll shut it down,
‘Til the love runs out.

There’s a maniac out in front of me.
Got an angel on my shoulder, and Mephistopheles.
My momma raised me good, momma raised me right.
Momma said “do what you want, say prayers at night”,
And I’m saying them, ’cause I’m so devout.
‘Til the love runs out.

We all want the same thing.
We all run for something.
For God, for fate,
For love, for hate,
For gold, and rust,
For diamonds, and dust.

Good Morning Frowning Friday,

In a moment of sadness, am speechless, am lost, in the middle of silence, am scared, fear to darkness. Too many questions, too many thoughts too little time to decide. Am all out of tears. From the beginning, till this very moment, did our love runs out?

Love,

F.

Family Vacay : Langkawi, The Jewel of Kedah

Image

Its been a long time i didn’t write here i mean type. Okay whatever that suits you. LOL Last weekend, me and family went for a 4 days and 3 nights holiday. We off to Langkawi, The Jewel of Kedah. As for the first time experienced flying with Firefly, our local flights been so bad. Twice delayed, the plane gone very humid inside, i think the air-conditioning not functioning and their counter been the last counter to open for check-in. Very ridiculous and no apologize from the counter staff. Am not sure yours, but mine and family had the bad time ever.

Here, a little bit of an island recognized as The Jewel of Kedah. The magnificent name, Langkawi, is believed to have originated from the abundance of eagles found on the island. The Brahminy Kite, a species of eagle fondly known as “Lang Merah” in Malay, and “Kawi”, meaning marble in Sanskrit, is also unique to the island. Another reference states that the name is a combination of two Sanskrit words, “Langka” (beauty) and “Wi” (innumerable), which means ‘The Place of Immense Beauty’. True enough, this island was also once known as the ‘Land of Bliss’ dating back 2,000 years ago.

We went almost all interesting places there. 2nd day, Island hoping to Dayang Bunting Island, Beras Basah Island and Singa Besar Island to feed huge eaglessss . its a big birds!keep flying just keep flying. Before we went here, we already booked our whole vacation with travel agency called MASDI & MAZLI HOLIDAYS SDN BHD. You can reach them as below:-
