Wish List : Speed Machines

  • Ducati Multistrada 1200

Image

For 2013 the Multistrada 1200 saw many changes, including the addition of an Active suspension system, using solenoid/valve actuated methods to actively control damping rates, often called the “Sky-Hook method”. The bike also features a revised second generation of the Testastretta 11-degree motor, now with “twin-plug cylinder heads for smoother, more efficient combustion”, the change contributing to a 5% increase in torque and a 10% improvement in fuel consumption. Also, there are significant changes to the windscreen, which is “larger and shaped to reduce noise at high speed”. 2013 also sees minor changes to the Pikes Peak edition; new graphics to match the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race-winning livery. A new Granturismo model features larger side-cases, the addition of a top case, driving lights and more touring-oriented tires. ReferencesOwner’s manual, Multistrada, Multistrada 1200S ABS Touring, Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., cod 913.7.175.1A, 04/2010

Wake Up Sid!

Image

Wake Up Sid!Well, it was my first time watching this Hindi movie that is way much more interesting than others. Its different. really different. I would say I love it. I gave it 10 of 10. I know it is a 2009 movie, but please consider that I didn’t really watch a Hindi movie at all. So I was so excited to watch this kind of Hindi movie in the future but not the one with all the sing a song, dancing in the rain and dramatic killing scene. It is soooooo boring and lame!Just like what my sister said, this movie exactly like the “3 idiots”. Modernize. But I have no idea hows that movie because I have no time to watch it. Its been suggested by my boyfie too 🙂 Sorry sayang, will watch it soon!

The Plot.

In Mumbai, Sid Mehra is, in the words of his father, an arrogant, spoiled brat. He lives with a doting mother and a father who pays his expenses and credit card bills. Sid takes his college finals then starts work at his father’s business; he lasts less than a week before walking out. At a graduation party, he’s met Aisha, newly arrived from Calcutta, set on becoming a writer. He shows her the city and helps her refurbish a rented flat. He asks if she’d like to progress from friend to something more; she says no – he lacks ambition and isn’t her type. And, Aisha was a lil bit older than him. Will her words, his exam results, a confrontation with his parents, and a break with his friends be enough to wake Sid up? Written by <jhailey@hotmail.com>

Ram Mehra used to live in a shanty Chawl in Jogeshwari, Bombay, but worked hard, married Sarita; opened his own business ‘Mehra Furnishings Company’; became the parent of Sidharth; and moved to a bungalow in Juhu. He and Sarita had hoped that Sid will be good in his studies, and eventually take over the business. But instead Sid turns out to be not only a slacker, but also fails in his final year exams; is rude to his mother, and is asked to leave. Sid moves out to live with his new-found friend, Aisha Banerjee, fresh from Kolkata, who has just landed a job with Mumbai Beats, and is in love with her boss, Kabir Chaudhary. She permits Sid to live with her, but ends up frustrated when she realizes that he cannot cook nor clean up after himself, and is very childish and immature. With daily arguments ensuing between the two, it will not be long before Sid may have to move out again – but where will Sid – with all doors closed in on him – move out to now?Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Isn’t It Pretty To Think So?

Isn’t it pretty to think so the definition of travel in this book was amazing. Lets read it! 🙂

“Travel is little beds and cramped bathrooms. It’s old television sets and slow Internet connections. Travel is extraordinary conversations with ordinary people. It’s waiters, gas station attendants, and housekeepers becoming the most interesting people in the world. It’s churches that are compelling enough to enter. It’s McDonald’s being a luxury. It’s the realization that you may have been born in the wrong country. Travel is a smile that leads to a conversation in broken English. It’s the epiphany that pretty girls smiles the same way all over the world. Travel is tipping 10% and being embraced for it. Travel is the same white T-shirt again tomorrow. Travel is accented sex after good wine and too many unfiltered cigarettes. Travel is flowing in the back of a bus with giggly strangers. It’s a street full of bearded backpackers looking down at maps. Travel is wishing for one more bite of whatever that just was. It’s the rediscovery of walking somewhere. It’s sharing a bottle of liquor on an overnight train with a new friend. Travel is “Maybe I don’t have to do it that way when I get back home”. It’s nostalgia for studying abroad that one semester. Travel is realizing that “age thirty” should be shed of its goddamn stigma.”

Super Massive Stress

Going through an incredibly hectic and stressful traffic jammed, and many other commitment including taking care of myself. I know all this stress can cause many types of diseases and be the cause of depression. The good news is, my food intake can help ward off this feeling and can be a stress reliever which I didn’t realize it. I think this is the 6 things I can munch on to help you get back in a good mood.

1. Fish (No way!I hate fish. I don’t like the taste and the smell of the fish and so does the skin. I can’t help it. But wait a minute, I can have tuna sandwich, keropok leko and sata-but it contains oil, fish and chips too!Absolutely there must be other way that i can still have my fish)

2. Pasta and Brown Rice ( Yeayy!perfect. Having a pasta is one of my favorite. So I have no problem with that. Me love spaghetti, fettuccine, macaroni in any kind of sauce you name it. Bolognese, Cabonara, Olio, Pesto. And yes brown rice, our family really do take care of each other that’s why we have Beras Faiza…… but I don’t remember the name of the rice.hahaha

3. Milk (Me and milk cannot be separate. Am the milk hunger)

4. Fruits (Mango!the first name pop up from my mind once you said fruits 🙂 I love Mango sooooo much. Even my boyfie knows that!we keep having a mango juice anywhere we go.  My Mr boyfie love berries, so keep eating and drinking it up love. Not just for the stress reliever but its healthy. And another one is Durian. But I believe Durian contain a lot of gas and high in sugar level. Mr Banana is always there at home cuz daddy’s favorite)

5. Beef (Me love it. Especially lamb meat! But please cut out the excess fat. Keep a healthy balance of the meat you eat.)

6. Almonds (I just remember how much I love almonds so much. I had it with honey. Its yummy! I really felt healthy)

So from now on , I’ll alert with my food. I keep having stress everyday. I don’t know how to keep it low. Now I know!

Toujours Skin Pure Collagen Dust

Toujours Pure Collagen Dust

BTW, am not selling this collagen. I just do the updates and review so that you guys (yes..guys can take it too!) know how does it works.

Its been 4 days taking this, I can feel the diff. But just do not quote me on these thing. I think it is actually depends on each skin. So, might be not working for you guys and vice versa. But there is no harm in trying right 🙂

The reason I would like to try this product is that yes, I would love to have a flawless skin. A glowing skin too!I think is time for me to take care of my skin and my youth body. Take care yourself from within. Next would be the other supplement baby!

I love this product, no more oil on my face when I woke up every morning. At night rite before I go to bed, I will sprinkle a little and blend it with my Simple soft moisturizer and spread it onto my face. It will leave just a thin layer of gel. But please beware, this product smells. Yes. It will give out a some sort of a fishy smell but not for so long. So if you do not like the smell, you need a nose clipper. Hehe

And last but not least, am not just apply it on my face but am drinkin it. Sprinkle it, no no no, a small tea spoon would be enough 🙂 drinkin it with a chill drinks. Wallah!you will see the result in just a few weeks maybe. I really hope so!

Will keep you update on this 🙂

The colourful people of Paris

Morgan Rana Photography

Paris, often the people more than the place, has long been a photographer’s paradise. The colour and beautiful landmarks such as those in my previous post, Getting an Eiffel, often take centre stage. Equally delightful, are the little things. The hefty price tag for a table on a crowded terrace, is often a small price to pay for ring-side seats to the great people-watching spectacle. Great heroes of mine have often portrayed a romantic and exciting image of vibrant Parisian streets.

I thumbed through a book in one brasserie, which showcased the work of Doisneau, Bresson and Sieff among others. Paris Mon Amour now rests on my bookshelf, as I was so inspired by the images inside that I immediately bought a copy. Admittedly, I was a little disheartened that the images were so sublime, but I think it’s always good to be able to reference what you want…
